With the strong support of the senior management team, our full time safety specialists lead the corporation’s Safety and Risk Management programs. Newly hired employees complete a Safety Orientation program and are tested before they are assigned to work. Throughout the year, Safety Workshops are mandatory for all field and technical personnel.

When a general contractor or property owner requires site-specific safety precautions, our Risk Management team reviews the requirements, provides special training as needed, and monitors these procedures. Our safety specialists audit job-sites, investigate incidents, assure our compliance with regulatory requirements, and focus the employees on positive behavior to assure a safe working environment.

VSC Corporation maintains a Drug Free Workplace, with mandatory pre-employment and workplace incident drug screening closely monitored. Drivers of corporate vehicles must be pre-approved, and driving records are reviewed annually.

Our Safety Awards Program rewards employees who work safely and without incident throughout the year. We have developed a successful transitional duty return-to-work program and enjoy a very low lost-time injury record.
